Pros:
It keeps the tips of my toes toasty when I'm walking two miles in ten below.
Cons:
They're so high and rigid that they dig into you when you try to bend your ankles (as necessary for ordinary walking, stairs, or rough terrain). Also something about the slope of the insole keeps shifting my feet so that the shoe starts putting uncomfortable pressure on the inner sides of my big toes.
