i got this ball in the purple 75 cm. size. i am 5'9" and this is the right size for me. when i opened the box, there was a strong plastic/rubber smell. i figure it will dissipate with time and assume all exercise balls will smell since they
are all rubber. took me less than 5 minutes to inflate and while that was a definite arm workout, it was no big deal. the pump was cheap but nothing to complain about for $20. my ball came with two air plugs. i just did the workout on the dvd. i did not like it. first off this is not an ab only work out which is what i assumed. this is a whole body work out and focuses a lot on leg/butt work. i do my legs at the gym so i don't want/need more legwork. secondly half or more exercise are done on your knees. i have bad knees and cannot kneel without pain. for the last few exercises, i placed a pillow under my knees and in the future will try my exercise mat. but what a pain to have to stop and adjust for the mat. while there were maybe three ab exercise i think will be new and helpful, the arm and leg work i felt was unnecessary for me, who was looking to work abs only. i was sweating my a** off though. time will tell. i don't really recommend this dvd. i do love the ball itself, it's a pretty grape purple and for that i'm glad i got it. i will probably learn the exercises i like and do it on my own. i have also found more helpful exercise ball workouts on youtube. all in all, if you're like me and just want the ball for abs, i say get a ball your size, don't worry about getting a good dvd. you can find exercises to do on the net. if you're looking for a full body work out, this is the dvd ball for you.
