This bracket kit is very well made, and the instructions are good. We needed to mount it on the garage roof, we have a very small yard and cannot keep moving a pole mounted set up. We decided to mount it on the garage roof. First I called Spalding to be sure it was the right bracket, they recommended another model that looks very large and it pops off the roof a lot, We did not think it was very sturdy, so we opted for this one. The picture at Amazon does not match the photo on the box, we had a gutter coming off the roof, so we had to purchase 2 sets of this bracket since the ones that come on one kit did not fit properly on the roof, not enough clearance (not long enough). After buying both kits we salvage enough parts from each to securely mount the rig on the roof at the correct pitch and angle; with enough clearance. This turned out to be cheaper and better than buying a more expensive rig. We will post the final photos soon. If you are mounting on a roof you need at least 2 people, several power tools and you must buy the long screws and nuts to secure it to the roof properly. We used several pieces of 1x2s with washers on the inside of the roof for security. We also bought some roofing cement to cover any gaps on the roof. You can opt to have a professional mount it for you if you do not want to climb on the roof with ladders to secure this thing. We recommend you figure out the rig before mounting it on the roof. The rim is relatively painless to mount once you have the backboard mounted on the roof. The kids are playing for an hour everyday after school. I've had this watch for a week now and I'm very satisfied. I've organized my comments into a series pros and cons:

Pros:

* Attractive: The silver color and analog face make this watch a bit dressier than my previous watches, which have all been black and digital.

* Automatic time setting: Truth be told, most watches nowadays are accurate enough even without this function, but it's nice to know that the time is always correct. I live about 1,200 miles from the radio time signal and I've had no problem with reception as long as I place the watch in the same spot near my bedroom every night.

* Light powered: Watch batteries last at least a couple of years, but I like not having to worry about changing mine (at least until the rechargeable battery dies). I've had one other "solar" Casio, and it only required topping up the charge by placing the watch in direct sunlight every few months. If you're outdoors a lot or don't usually wear long sleeves, as I do, you may get by just on routine exposure.

* Light weight: As another reviewer said, the resin case isn't very noticeable and it makes the watch light and comfortable.

Cons:

* Manual: The tiny manual is nearly impossible to read. Fortunately, it's easy to download as a PDF file from Casio's Web site. The instructions are fairly straightforward - I had no problem accessing all the watch's functions in a few minutes.

* Digital readout: This display serves a number of purposes, including showing the time or day/date, as well as the alternate time zone, stopwatch, and alarm functions. It's serviceable, but small. If you want digits that are easy to read, you'd be better off with an all-digital watch.

* Light: I wish it were a bit stronger. Also, it only illuminates the digital display, but that's enough to check the time at 3 AM.

Other comments:

* Band: It's attractive and comfortable. If you choose to resize it yourself, as I did, be aware that none of the instructions I found on the Web were completely accurate. As best as I can tell, the pins that hold the links in place are not polarized - both ends are identical. They're held in place by a tiny tapered collar that fits into a hole in one of the links that are being joined. It's very easy to lose the collar when you remove the pins, so be careful. are all rubber. took me less than 5 minutes to inflate and while that was a definite arm workout, it was no big deal. the pump was cheap but nothing to complain about for $20. my ball came with two air plugs. i just did the workout on the dvd. i did not like it. first off this is not an ab only work out which is what i assumed. this is a whole body work out and focuses a lot on leg/butt work. i do my legs at the gym so i don't want/need more legwork. secondly half or more exercise are done on your knees. i have bad knees and cannot kneel without pain. for the last few exercises, i placed a pillow under my knees and in the future will try my exercise mat. but what a pain to have to stop and adjust for the mat. while there were maybe three ab exercise i think will be new and helpful, the arm and leg work i felt was unnecessary for me, who was looking to work abs only. i was sweating my a** off though. time will tell. i don't really recommend this dvd. i do love the ball itself, it's a pretty grape purple and for that i'm glad i got it. i will probably learn the exercises i like and do it on my own. i have also found more helpful exercise ball workouts on youtube. all in all, if you're like me and just want the ball for abs, i say get a ball your size, don't worry about getting a good dvd. you can find exercises to do on the net. if you're looking for a full body work out, this is the dvd ball for you. i needed a good little flashlight i could take with me everywhere. what's the point in buying a flashlight if you don't have it on you when you need it?

well it's smaller than i thought, which is good! the construction quality is great. it feels very well made and solid. there are 3 brightness settings, and the first one is plenty bright for any indoor use. the brightest setting is insane for such a small piece.

the only down sides if any (and they don't bother me enough to dampen my enthusiasm) is that the battery is what i'd consider non-standard... by that i mean, you're not going to find a CR123 battery in as many places as a AA or AAA.

the other thing is that... well because it's so small, i'm afraid i'm going to lose it! i debated whether to get a few cheaper lights in this size, knowing they get misplaced.
