I purchased this helmet in a nearby store and love it. My wife purchased a POC costing quite a bit more, this helmet is every bit as good as the POC and costs $90 less. I would happily pay the extra money if the POC was a better product, but there just isn't that much difference.

After snowboarding for years, we decided to purchase helmets this year. After 5 days in the Colorado Rockies, I can confidently say that I will not ski/snowboard again without this helmet. I find that the lining and ear warmers keep my head warmer than the "beanie caps" I used to wear. I did not purchase the speaker option, my bud earphones work under the earpads just fine.

I tried on both the medium and large versions of the helmet. With the adjustments built in, I could have gone either way. I like their system better than the cheaper helmet's system of adding pads. I was able to get a good fit.

The one quibble I would have is with the brim. My goggles fit fine on the back, but the brim tends to get in the way when I try and put them on the top of the helmet. I have figured out how to hitch them on the brim, but it took a couple of tries to figure it out. I have Oakley goggles, not sure if a Smith version would be any different.

I got these in the mail a few days ago and think they are clunky cute, love how they feel when I walk and can feel different muscles being used when I walk in them as compared to barefoot or 'normal' shoes.

However, they run small my length is a perfect size six and I bought one size up and they just fit. I also am no able to wear them for more than about 30 minutes at a time because I need to break them in enough for my fat little feet to feel comfortable. I've never had a problem with Mary Jane's before but I think the special insert pushes my foot up just enough that it's a bit tight - and I don't want to go up another size because then they will be too big on me. I wish the bed of the shoe was a tiny bit deeper.

Other than the sizing issues these are awesome shoes, they feel good when walking, I feel my posture improve while I have them on and I used different leg muscles when I walk in them.

Everlast Leather Weighted Jump Rope Review

This is my first jump rope. I wanted something quality and slightly weighted and this fit the bill. Since I can't compare having not tried other ropes, I can't comment on how it compares to other leather or synthetic ropes. But so far it seems to spin as fast as I need it to and it is definitely giving me a work out as I build conditioning for jump rope. When new, the leather is extremely stiff and bent from packaging, but if you use 100% neatsfoot oil to condition the leather, it will become very supple and a bit heavier and straighten out nicely within an hour or two. Also be sure to store it by hanging it, not wound up.

Negatives to beware of: Any good jump rope needs to be adjustable. This one is a pain in the *ss to adjust (it is not advertised as being adjustable at all), though possible. You have to remove the little spring holding the bearing in place, cut the rope and reposition the metal piece holding the leather behind the bearing. Not a fun procedure and possibly will ruin your rope and/or handles if you're not careful. Secondly, I began to notice that my rope was rubbing on the rim of the wood handle and actually wearing away at one particular spot. I quickly put some electrical tape to protect the area from further wear (I could see the leather wearing through and eventually breaking without this). No it's not titanium alloy or military-grade aircraft aluminum, but it works. The rope is garbage for climbing but you can use it for something else, and I got some good rope for pretty cheap at Home Depot. This hook works well--just don't throw it too hard against a hard surface as it may bend a bit. If you're going to be doing toss-and-climb with it, I recommend wrapping the hooks in a layer of cloth so as to reduce the shock on the hook if it makes a sharp impact (and to reduce noise!)

When it is sagging like that it is hard to move the bottom zipper because the zipper is folded too much. Another review stated that the zipper is too big. I think this is true. A smaller zipper would not bind as much.

When it is full, it doesn't sag as much because the contents are holding it up. Once you start taking stuff out, it will begin to sag again.

As far as performance, it will keep the contents cold for quite a while. I never put perishable food in the top section. I use the top for stuff like plastic utensils , OTC medicine, gum, trail mix, etc.

I use a 3 x 5 x 1.5 size blue ice block. When I get home it is still partially frozen after 12 hours or so. I do not leave the bag in my car. The place I work is inside and no more than 80 F.

This bag is more than big enough for 2 breaks and a lunch worth of food plus a little more. For many people anyway. I try to limit the calories myself.
